Residents in the Val Caron and Blezzard Valley area may notice discoloured water this afternoon and into this evening due to an emergency repair to the water distribution system, said the city in a news release.

Residents are advised to check water for clarity prior to starting laundry or dishwashers. Water can be cleared of excess sediments by running a cold water tap, preferably one which is closest to a downstairs water meter, until the water runs clear.

For further information, please dial 311 and ask for Water/Wastewater Services.
