Sudbury PCs to acclaim Peroni as candidate

Paula Peroni will be acclaimed Oct. 6 as the candidate of record in the Sudbury riding for the Ontario Progressive Conservatives.

Peroni, who also ran as the PCs' Sudbury candidate in last year's provincial election, was the only candidate hopeful registered for the nomination process at the cutoff date, according to an email from Paul Comacchio, president of the Sudbury PC Riding Association.

The party will announce Peroni's candidacy at 1 p.m. Oct. 6 at 200 Falconbridge Rd.
