Once again, Sudbury's Young Professional Association is recognizing young individuals and organizations who have demonstrated commitment to the growth and well being of the community.

On Nov. 15, from 7 to 10 p.m., the fifth annual awards gala takes place at the Art Gallery of Sudbury.

“The YPA Awards Gala has become a highly anticipated event where individuals are recognized for their personal achievements as well as their community contributions,” a media release from the YPA stated.” Each year, the association also highlights an organization within Sudbury that employs young professionals and facilitates the retention and development of young people within their organization.”

Nominations are now being accepted for female young professional of the year, male young professional of the year and best place to work. Individuals must be between 20 and 40 to receive a nomination. Anyone can nominate someone for their leadership, hard work, community involvement and enthusiasm for our city between now and Nov. 2 at 4:30 p.m. For nomination forms or additional information, please call 705-688-7582 or email ypa@sudbury.ca.

Tickets to the event are now available from the Regional Business Centre for $25.
