Reliance Home Comfort giving away furnace

Reliance Home Comfort and United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts are pairing up for the third annual Why Me? Free Furnace Give Away contest.

The contest raises awareness for the 2012 United Way Campaign and provides energy-efficient warmth to a family in need this winter.

One high-efficiency gas furnace will be given away to a household in Greater Sudbury. This giveaway comes complete with installation, a carbon monoxide detector, programmable thermostat and a one-year Comfort Protection plan for maintenance and service of your furnace.

To enter into the contest, write to the United way in 150 words or less why you or your family is in need of a new furnace.

Submissions should be sent to 105 Elm St., Sudbury, ON, P3C 1T3 Attention: Gillian Scott or to [email protected].

Include your full name, home address and phone number where you can be reached during the day. Three finalists will have their home furnace inspected by a certified technician to ensure that they are able to have a high efficiency gas furnace installed in their home.

You must be a home owner to qualify for this contest. Rental properties will not be considered.

Submissions will be accepted Oct. 31 to Nov. 11. The winner will be announced Nov. 16.
