OLG Slots at Sudbury Downs, Independent Grocer and the Sudbury Food Bank are going all in for the first Lett’uce Fill Your Fridge Campaign.

The campaign will help collect canned good donations for the Sudbury Food Bank and give away free groceries to guests of the slots facility.

“In general, most people are frugal in January after holiday expenses,” said Slots at Sudbury Downs general manager Todd Hilton. “We wanted to do something fun for our guests, but also have a way to give back to the community. Donating to a food bank doesn’t have to stop just because the holidays are over. People rely on the Sudbury Food Bank year round.”

Each evening, from Jan. 7-27, the slots facility will be awarding a $500 gift card for use at any of the five Sudbury-area Independent Grocer locations.

To qualify for a ballot, guests must either donate a canned good or swipe their Winner’s Circle Rewards card daily. Bonus ballots are available at OLG.ca.
