Lace up those skates, because the Ramsey Lake Skating Path opens at 4 p.m. today.

Skaters can head to the skating path between 4-8 p.m. The path measures about 1.5 kilometres in length, extending from the Sudbury Canoe Club at the corner of Elizabeth Street and McNaughton Terrace to Science North.

Heated change facilities are located at both ends of the path.

The Ramsey Lake Skate Patrol will be on duty Mondays to Fridays from 4-8 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.

The Ramsey Lake Skating Path will remain open until mid-March, weather permitting.
