Laurentian University students will hit the streets of Sudbury during the evenings of Feb. 4 and 5 to collect funds for the Northern Cancer Foundation.

They will be canvassing in the New Sudbury and Minnow Lake areas between the hours of 6-9 p.m. both nights.

Students will have identification and will be issuing unofficial NCF receipts for donations received.

The canvass is in advance of their annual “Airbandz for Cancer” event, to be held Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. in the university's Fraser Auditorium. This event is also in support of the Northern Cancer Foundation.

Tickets cost $10 in advance for students at the Laurentian University residence office and $15 at the door for the general public.
