Council expenses now available online

Council expenses will be reported on the city’s website effective today.

The expenses are retroactive to the beginning of the current term of council, said the city.

City council is committed to furthering transparency and accountability on the use of council expenses and Healthy Community Initiative (HCI) funds, the city said in a news release. The Council Expense and Healthy Community Initiative Fund Policy was approved at the Dec. 11, 2012 meeting of council.
