“We’re looking for people who love their community and the spotlight to come forward and be part of our campaign,” said Ian Bird, CEO and president of CFC, in a media release.
The talent search is looking for just the right person to star in upcoming television and radio campaign ads to spred the CFC message. Individuals must be 18 years or older, amateur actors and involved with their community or local community foundation. Auditions will be held on YouTube.
Talent search winners will have the opportunity to fly to Toronto to record a community anthem for the campaign, with their flights and accommodations paid.
Full details on how to enter the contest can be found at communityfoundations.ca/talentsearch. The entry deadline is Sept. 15.
