Carina House in Hanmer will receive $50,000 for installation of sprinkler system in compliance with Fire Code, while Namaste Home in Copper Cliff will get $35,000 to replace roofing shingles and reparge the foundation.
Funds are being provided through the Partner Facility Renewal Program.
“These investments will allow Community Living Greater Sudbury to pay for repairs and important renovations, so they can continue to provide high quality services to clients and their families,” said Bartolucci. “The end result is a better experience for all of our community members who access these facilities.”
This funding is part of a $6.5-million investment to help maintain and improve more than 150 sites at over 90 community agencies across the province.
