Sudbury MP Glenn Thibeault will host a two-day passport clinic from Jan. 23-24 at the New Sudbury Shopping Centre.
“It’s been a tough winter already, and I want to make sure Sudburians have their passports in hand before they head out for that much-needed vacation,” said Thibeault.
Thibeault said his staff handles thousands of passport applications per year and there is always a high demand during the winter months.
“It’s so frustrating that we still don’t have a regional passport office in Sudbury,” said Thibeault. “We remain the largest city in Canada without a passport office nearby.”
The times for the clinic are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. both days. Those applying for a passport are asked to bring their completed application along with photos and proper identification.
