Community Builders Awards coming up Feb. 20

Eight outstanding individuals or organizations will be honoured Feb. 20 at the 11th annual Community Builders Awards of Excellence gala.

The event, which is put on by Northern Life, takes place from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel's Palladium Ballroom. More than 500 people are expected to attend.

Awards are presented in eight categories: Arts, Economic Development, Education, Environment, Health, Sports and Recreation, Young Leader and Hall of Fame.

“This year's nominees make Greater Sudbury extraordinary,” said Northern Life publisher Abbas Homayed. “We are looking forward to recognizing these exceptional individuals and organizations at this year's CBAs.”

Tickets cost $70 each, or $560 for a table of eight.
