Weekend festivals will result in road closures and shuttles

Anderson Drive, between MR24 and Turner Street in Lively, will close to traffic between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Feb. 8 and 9 for the annual Walden Winter Carnival. Access will be maintained for local traffic, emergency vehicles and pedestrians.

Pond Hockey Festival on the Rock

The Pond Hockey Festival on the Rock venue has been moved to the area in front of the Sudbury Canoe Club (Elizabeth Street). All participants and spectators are required to park in the York Street parking lots (North and South) and use the shuttle service provided free of charge. Provisions will be made on site for those requiring accessible parking.

Shuttles will run:
- Feb. 7 from 4 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.
- Feb. 8 from 8 a.m. to 10:15 p.m.
- Feb. 9 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Residents planning on using the Ramsey Lake Skating Path are encouraged to access the path at the Science North entrance.
