Canada’s freestyle ski mogulists have added to the nation’s growing medal count in Sochi as Alex Bilodeau and Mikaël Kingsbury captured gold and silver, respectively.

“This is a great night for Canada’s freestyle ski program and for our entire country. Today, Alex and Mikaël join an extraordinary list of freestyle medallists and champions in our skiing history,” said Marcel Aubut, president of the Canadian Olympic Committee. “To have three Canadians in the top four in the world is absolutely phenomenal. This is such a proud moment for our country. Canada is indeed winter!”

Canada’s Marc-Antoine Gagnon finished in 4th position.

Canada grabbed gold and silver medals in both men’s and women’s moguls.

Canada now has seven medals at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games (three gold, three silver and one bronze).
