Falconbridge Road near Frobisher Street is now re-opened.

Earlier this morning, a truck became tangled in non-electrical wires, forcing police to close the road so the problem could be fixed.

First, officials had to rule out if the wires were live hydro wires. Once it was determined they were not, the vehicle had to be removed and the wires repaired.

The incident saw Falconbridge Road reduced to one lane southbound to allow for repair, and slowed morning traffic.

Drivers were asked to use alternate routes until the road was cleared.
