Planned power outage to hit 100 homes in New Sudbury

Homes will be without power for four hours on March 5

About 100 homes in New Sudbury will be out of power for around four hours on Wednesday, March 5, said Sudbury Hydro.

The planned power outage is required to complete maintenance work, and will affect about 100 Sudbury Hydro Customers on Hawthorne Drive, east of Auger Drive, on Claudia Court and homes on parts of Velray Court.

Power will be out from around 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

If weather interferes with the maintenance work, it will be rescheduled on Thursday, March 6.
