Students at Carl Nesbitt Public School helped kick off this year's Sudbury Rocks!!! Race, Run or Walk for Diabetes.
This year's race will be held on Mother's Day, May 11 and includes a new course.
All events will begin on Minto Street next to Tom Davies Square.
The Sudbury Rocks race expo is also moving to a new location. It will be held on May 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at École secondaire du Sacré-Coeur at 261 Notre Dame Ave.
Children under 12 years old can join the one-kilometre race for free. The event also features five-km, 10-km, half marathon and full marathon courses.
Funds raised through the event go to the northeastern Ontario Canadian Diabetes Association.
