Local business helps fight colorectal cancer

Sudbury business Adoro Olive Oils has teamed up with the Northern Cancer Foundation to support the Northeast Cancer Centre throughout March – for Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

Adoro will donate a percentage of all sales throughout March to the Northeast Cancer Centre.

In 2013, an estimated 23,900 new cases of colorectal cancer were diagnosed in Canada. The disease is 90 per cent treatable if detected early.

Since 2012, Adoro owner Jodie Gibson has donated $2800 to the Northern Cancer Centre with proceeds from sales and specials held in-store.
