"A Fighting Man" features Sudbury's own Gord Apolloni, acting alongside Izaak Smith and Dominic Purcell, as well as Adam Beach, Kim Coates, James Caan, Louis Gossett Jr. and Michael Ironside.
Boxing scenes were filmed at The Grand.
Many Sudburians were involved in the production, which received a $1-million Northern Ontario Heritage Fund grant.
