The Sudbury Coalition against Poverty (S-CAP) will hold a rally and march against the province's “austerity agenda” March 25.

A pizza lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. in Memorial Park, followed by speakers, music and then a march through the downtown area.

Among the issues cited by S-CAP the need for a dramatic increase to social assistance rates and the minimum wage, as well as the reversal to the cuts to the Community Start Up and Maintenance Benefit for those on social assistance.
