The funds, raised by the Alban Community Fundraisers, are earmarked for the community kitchen, community room and furnishings and some clinical equipment.

The clinic, which opened its doors in September 2012, boasts an interdisciplinary team of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, a social worker, a health promoter, a chiropractor and collaborating physicians.

Their patient-centred and community-based approach has allowed them to offer quality care and free community programs such as yoga, bootcamp, fall prevention classes, chronic disease self-management program and lab services.
