Canadian Red Cross picks winners for Northern Raffle

Canadian Red Cross held its 19th annual Northern Raffle draw at the Sudbury branch on March 26.


A total of 14,500 tickets were sold across Northern Ontario. 


This year’s winners are:

Grand prize: 2014 Nissan Murano SUV (valued at $32,400) or $25,000 cash
Jean Allan of Dryden

2nd prize: 2014 Polaris Sportsman H.O. and gift certificate (valued at $7,500)
Kathy Brisson of Hawk Jct.

5 draws of $1,000 each:
Pete Clemens of North Bay
Elwood Grasser of Trout Creek
Maurice Seguin of Sudbury
Gilbert Desjardins of Timmins
Walter Swain of Bruce Mines

Proceeds from the raffle support programs such as disaster relief efforts, seniors’ transportation, housing support, cleaning support for senior’s homes and first aid training as provided by the Canadian Red Cross.
