The YMCA of Sudbury has wrapped up its 2013-14 Strong Kids fundraising campaign.

It announced March 31 that not only had it met its $115,000 campaign goal, but had surpassed it to the tune of $117,582.

Money raised during the campaign will provide much-needed community programs for children, teens and young adults to find care, guidance, physical and educational training, as well as friendship with other kids and caring adults.

“Thanks to the great generosity ... we are able to help our kids build a better community for tomorrow” said Alex McCauley, chair of Strong Kids Committee.
