The children of Zawadi La Tumaini, the Kenyan children’s home operated by Sudburian Jacqueline Villeneuve (at centre), show their appreciation for the funds Nickel City residents provided by attending “A Night in Africa,” the annual fundraiser for the home organized by Zawadi La Tumaini’s local board of directors. The event funds the majority of the home’s yearly $65,000 operating cost.
