CMHA Sudbury/Manitoulin achieves exemplary standing

Accreditation Canada awarded the Canadian Mental Health Association – Sudbury/Manitoulin with exemplary standing for its achievements in the mental health field.

Accreditation Canada, a leading accreditation agency in health care, recognized the Canadian Mental Health Association – Sudbury/Manitoulin for its achievements in client satisfaction, governance, client services, regional outcomes and its psychosocial rehabilitation approach.

“Our clients can feel confident and trust that we are following national standards of excellence in order to evaluate and continue to improve our organizational performance for their benefit,” said a Canadian Mental Health Association – Sudbury/Manitoulin press release on the accreditation.

The agency is one of the few in Northern Ontario to provide housing for people who struggle with mental illness, the release said.
