Part of roadway closed since early Tuesday morning

City crews have managed to clear enough water and ice away from Notre Dame Avenue and it has been fully reopened to traffic.

Notre Dame was closed about 1 a.m. in both directions between Wilma and Cambrian Heights due to flooding and for safety purposes.

Other road closure updates from Greater Sudbury Police:

-- Dryden Road in Wahnapitae. There is a detour by Red Deer Road to Kari Road.

-- River Road in Walden was closed all night. It now has one lane of traffic open and may be fully open after 10 am.

-- Worthington Road between Aino Road and Cwethko Road in Walden is closed.

Due to dropping temperatures, drivers are urged to take extra care as the roads are slippery.
