Frood Road will open to traffic at 5 p.m., said the city in a news release.
The City thanks residents in the area for their patience.
Original story
Although the flooding has mostly subsided on Frood Road, between Jean Street and Burton Avenue, the road remains closed this morning as city crews work to repair the roadway.
Yesterday evening at just after 8 p.m., the city was forced to close that part of the road after a beaver dam apparently burst, washing out parts of the road.
Rerouting is in place for transit route 17 from Kathleen Street.
Residents are asked to take alternate routes while clean up and repairs are underway.
