Parents interested in having their children take part in city-run playground programs this summer in Onaping Falls and Dowling need to sign up fast.

After reviewing programs and community needs, the city said it would like to offer neighbourhood playground programs in the two communities.

Because the programs fill up fast, parents are encouraged to sign up early. A minimum of 15 participants are needed. If the minimum requirement is not met, the program will be cancelled and those registered in Onaping Falls will be transferred to the Dowling site, or a location of their choice depending on program availability.

Neighbourhood Playground Programs

Ages: 5-12

Dates: July 2 to Aug. 22 (last day is a half-day session; no programs August 4)

Time: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m.

Fee: $300 per child

Registration: Call 3-1-1, register online at www.greatersudbury.ca/register or visit your local Citizen Service Centre
