PHOTO: Pink in the Rink

Geoffrey Lougheed, of Lougheed Funeral Homes, Cathy Burns, of the Canadian Cancer Society, Sudbury Wolves players Conor Cummins and Connor Burgess, Sue Lekun, of the Canadian Cancer Society, Blaine Smith, general manager of the Sudbury Wolves, and Matt Zawierzeniec, of Skater’s Edge, presented a cheque for $17,000 to the Canadian Cancer Society for breast cancer treatment and research in Northern Ontario. The money was raised through the Perkins Pink in the Rink event on Feb. 14, 2014, at the Sudbury Arena.
