The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce is hosting an all candidates debate for next month's byelection and NorthernLife.ca will bring it to you live.
With the June 12 provincial election less than two weeks away, Northern Life is hosting all candidates debates in Sudbury and Nickel Belt in our downtown studio.

Readers are being invited to suggest questions for the Liberal, New Democrat, Progressive Conservative and Green candidates vying to become the MPP for Sudbury.

The debate will be streamed live online beginning at lunchtime and wrapping up before 1 p.m.

The format will give each candidate 90 seconds to make an opening statement. Then candidates will be asked questions in turn by Northern Life reporter Darren MacDonald. We will ask a number of questions from our editorial team, and finish with questions sent by viewers and readers. Topics will range from provincial issues to more intensely local ones.

The debate structure will allow some open debate between the candidates. Readers can submit questions beforehand by email to [email protected] or social media to Facebook.com/northernlife.ca or on Twitter using the hashtag #NLdebate, or send them as they arise during the debate.
