Mayor's state of the city address set for June 19

Mayor Marianne Matichuk delivers her fourth state of the city address June 19. The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce hosts the luncheon at Ristorante Verdicchio's Enoteca Natura on Kelly Lake Road.

Mayor Marianne Matichuk will join the mayors from Northern Ontario's five largest cities to discuss electricity rates, infrastructure projects, sustainable funding for northern cities and the Ring of Fire in North Bay on July 3.

The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce hosts the luncheon at Ristorante Verdicchio's Enoteca Natura on Kelly Lake Road. As she has done in previous years, the mayor will speak on the future of the City of Greater Sudbury and council's work to get the city there.

The event begins at noon. Matichuk will begin speaking at around 12:50 p.m.
