Harley-Davidson dealership under new ownership

Sudbury's Harley-Davidson dealership, the Shop Harley-Davidson, has been re-branded The Rock Harley-Davidson under new ownership.

The dealership's previous owner, Ron Kanerva, retired after a 39-year career in the snowmobile and motorcycle industry.

He sold the business to FFUN Enterprises and minority partner Greg Erixon.

Kanerva opened the dealership on Long Lake Road in 2007.

Since its inception, the business has helped raise funds for several charities, including annual donations to Maison Vale Hospice.

Throughout his career Kanerva won a number of awards, including a Diamond Award for general business excellence from Harley-Davidson's Winter Dealer meeting.
