Symboticware, a Sudbury-based company that specializes in products for real-time monitoring and safety control systems for the mining industry, is getting $13,279 from FedNor.

The funds will be used to complete an operational assessment to improve its manufacturing and assembly processes, while ensuring that products meet international quality and safety standards.

Company president and CEO Kirk Petroski said in a statement that the assessment would allow Symboticware to “embrace new opportunities with confidence with the knowledge that our manufacturing and assembly processes will support our growth plans.”
