There'll be bingo and a few people might even get stinko at the July 12 Sudbury Saturday Night event.

The fundraiser is in support of The Stompin' Tom Commemorative Committee's efforts to pay for a bronze statue of the late singer they're hoping to erect in downtown Sudbury.

The event begins with bingo at Boardwalk Bingo at 7:15 p.m. A party featuring tribute artist Stompin' Jon starts at the Townehouse tavern at 9 p.m.

Tickets, which cost $25, are available at 84 Station Coffee Shop, Jean Country and Artists on Elgin.
