Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO) will start the new school year with a few new principals.

Luc Dalcourt will assume the role of systemic school principal for the board. This position will allow him to implement various ministry initiatives within CSCNO elementary and secondary schools.

Mrs. Lise Dewar will be the new principal at St-Denis elementary school in Sudbury.

Until June 2015, Mr. Michel Lavergne will assume a temporary principal’s position at St-Joseph elementary school in Dubreuilville.

“We will greatly benefit from a continued stability among our leaders in our elementary and secondary Catholic schools during the 2014-2015 school year,” said André Bidal, CSCNO president, in a press release.

“Our school principals and vice-principals act as catalysts for our Catholic professional learning community,” said CSCNO director of education Lyse-Anne Papineau.

“We are confident that these three principals will be exemplary leaders for students and staff.”
