This culinary competition invited individuals from the community to submit their best unique recipe for a chance to be crowned the winner of Sudbury’s first culinary challenge. Out of all of the submissions, the judges have selected their Top 10 to move on to Round 2.
Cook for Me Sudbury is judged by culinary experts, Mark Gregorini, (owner of Ristorante Verdicchio), Stephanie Piché, (owner of Legacy Catering), Simon Le Hénaff, (chef and professor of College Boréal’s Culinary Arts program), and Marida Mohammed (Masterchef Canada runner-up).
“It was tough choosing only 10 to qualify for the second round. We received some really great submissions. Sudbury definitely has many great home chefs and I hope those that didn’t qualify this time will try again next year,” said Piché, one of the judges of the competition.
