Local raspberries at The Market this weekend

Local raspberries are up for grabs this weekend at The Market, next to the CP/Via Rail Station at 233 Elgin St. Sample Patty’s Petahe, homemade perogies in a variety of flavours including Oktoberfest and Pepperoni Pizza.

Local raspberries are up for grabs this weekend at The Market, next to the CP/Via Rail Station at 233 Elgin St.

Sample Patty’s Petahe, homemade perogies in a variety of flavours including Oktoberfest and Pepperoni Pizza. Ask for a Downtown Passport to Fresh Ideas and enter a draw for a prize package.

Participate in a costume design and story mob, hosted by the Greater Sudbury Public Library, on Saturday, Aug. 23. Meet community food advisers and representatives from Volunteer Sudbury.

Also on Saturday, Bossa Nova Brotherhood performs on the outdoor Market stage from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by award-winning guitarist Jamie Dupuis from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Market is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy live entertainment, fresh foods, unique gift ideas and more.
