Wynne expected for Franco-Ontarian celebration

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne is expected to participate in the University of Sudbury's Franco-Ontarian flag-raising ceremony on Sept. 25.

In a press release, the university said there is a “great probability” that Wynne will join Madeleine Meilleur, minister responsible for Francophone Affairs, and Reza Moridi, minister of Training, Colleges and Universities in a ceremony at 11 a.m. in front of the main entrance at the university.

The celebrations will begin with music from Patrick Wright et les Gauchistes, followed by speeches and then the raising of the flag. Everyone is invited to participate.
