The Canadian Cancer Society launched its Daffodils for Hope campaign Wednesday to raise money for its local transportation program, Wheels of Hope.

All Home Hardware locations in Greater Sudbury will sell daffodil bulbs to support the fundraising campaign.

Customers can purchase five daffodil bulbs for $5 or 100 bulbs for $50.

Donations to the Daffodils for Hope campaign can also be made at www.daffodilsforhope.ca.

All net proceeds are going to the volunteer-based Wheels of Hope program that provides safe and comfortable rides to cancer patients needing life-saving treatment in Sudbury and surrounding areas.

In 2013, 367 cancer patients received assistance with 7,507 trips to cancer-related appointments with the support of generous donors.
