CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday

A sea of pink T-shirts is expected to take over Cambrian College on Sunday for the 16th annual CIBC Run for the Cure in Sudbury.

Last year's event featured 1,100 participants who raised $294,216 for breast cancer research, health education and advocacy programs.

This year's event will start at 9 a.m., with both a one-kilometre and five-kilometre walk or run starting at 10 a.m.

The Run for the Cure will take place in 30 communities across Ontario.
