Building the perfect Zombie

To kick off a month of spook-tacular events, international makeup artist Dana Lajeunesse visited our studio today to provide a tutorial on creating the perfect Zombie.

Lajenesse will be demonstrating her skills at a Halloween Skull Makeup Workshop hosted by the Greater Sudbury Public Library: Valley East location. She will demonstrate tips and tricks for the look, and will select a participant for a skull makeover. The workshop takes place at 6 p.m. Oct. 22 and registration is required.

If Halloween is too long of a wait, this weekend The Nickel City Roller Derby will be hosting Sudbury’s 2015 Zombie Walk on Oct 4. The walk will kick off at 4 p.m. at the Science North parking lot.

The group will then head north on Paris Street, over the Bridge of Nation and end at Memorial Park downtown. The event is free to participate and commemorative zombie walk T-shirts will be available at the end.
