Mary Tripodi turned seven years old recently, but in lieu of birthday gifts, she asked her friends to make a donation to Health Sciences North Foundation in support of pediatric services.

Mary was so proud and excited to present Health Sciences North Foundation with $75 and a new beautiful Teddy bear.

When Mary was asked why she wanted to help other children she answered,

“Because I have enough toys and I wanted to help other children.”

“These types of donations are so important and are great examples that demonstrate the difference one person can make to our Foundation and to the hospital,” said Mary Lou Hussak, executive director, Health Sciences North Foundation. “Thank you Mary, we hope others will follow your footsteps.”
