It was with great enthusiasm and engagement that École secondaire du Sacré-Coeur students and staff participated in the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child that supports children in developing countries.

No less than 139 Christmas boxes were assembled and are waiting to be distributed to children in other countries, said a news release from Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario.

“Through this school project, Sacré-Cœur students and staff wanted to do its share to help children celebrate this important day,” said the news release.

The Samaritan’s Purse is responsible for the Operation Christmas Child. Each shoebox is filled by Canadians with hygiene items, school supplies, toys, and candy, and is given to children in developing countries.
