The City of Greater Sudbury is hosting an information session to learn about proposed changes to Greater Sudbury Transit Route 702 in Azilda.

Two options will be presented on Wednesday, Nov. 26, between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on board a Greater Sudbury Transit bus, parked near the Lionel E. Lalonde Centre on Fleetwood Drive.

Growth in residential property development in the area of Azilda’s Montée Principale has prompted a review of pedestrian access to the Lionel E. Lalonde Centre. Proposed improvements will re-route Greater Sudbury Transit buses from Rayside Avenue to Fleetwood Drive to take advantage of new pathways connecting residential developments.

Citizens are invited to provide feedback on the proposed transit routes by attending the information session or by completing an online survey at www.greatersudbury.ca/route702.
