Christmas comes early for Chelmsford's Gordon Boyce

Chelmsford resident Gordon Boyce got an early Christmas present after winning a $100,000 top prize with Instant Merry Money Multiplier.

He purchased the ticket at Boardwalk Gaming Centre on Highway 69 in Val Caron.

“When I saw the prize amount, I couldn’t believe I won,” said the longtime Instant game and lottery player while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto, where he picked up his winnings. “I took the ticket to the store and had it scanned. The amount flashed on the screen. It took a while to sink in. My wife was more excited than I was.”

Gordon plans to buy a new car with his windfall.

“It will be a good Christmas for the family,” he said.
