Winter rains causing Sudbury Transit detours

Some Greater Sudbury Transit routes are being bypassed because of poor weather conditions, the city reported Tuesday morning.

Some Greater Sudbury Transit routes are being bypassed because of poor weather conditions, the city reported Tuesday morning.

Until further notice, there is no service on the following routes:

– Lourdes Street (Route 102 Howey/Third)

– Stanley Street (Route 103 Coniston)

– Tulane Avenue (Route 141 Grandview/Shopping Centre)

– Emily Street - buses will onto Madison from Falconbridge Road (Route 301 Lasalle/Madison)

– South Bay Road turnaround (Route 500 University to Paris)

– Meadowbrook (Route 701 Lively)

The Sudbury Transit is experiencing delays on some other routes and is asking passengers to check for updated arrival times at mybus.greatersudbury.ca.
