Collège Boréal will continue to aim to become the first choice among French-language colleges as a result of the quality, accessibility, and flexibility of its training and services.

That is the underlying basis of the college's 2015-2020 strategic plan, released today.

The plan is the result of more than one year of work and will serve as the road map leading the institution to 2020.

To carry out this vision, Boréal will focus on the following values: excellence, humanism, inclusion, innovation and respect, while continuing to foster knowledge and stimulate culture, as per its motto.

The Plan’s four strategic directions include access, flexibility, quality, and visibility. Several strategic and priority objectives have been identified to achieve quantifiable objectives in terms of creating new programs, increasing transferability for students, and also increasing Boréal’s visibility among future clienteles not only in Canada but abroad.

“On behalf of Collège Boréal’s board of governors, I would like to thank all those who took the time to participate in this strategic planning process. Your contributions have allowed us to prepare a forward-looking plan for all,” said Monique Rocheleau, chair of Collège Boréal’s board of governors.

“While Collège Boréal celebrates its 20th anniversary, it is also important to look to the future in order to help future graduates and partners contribute to the vitality of the Franco-Ontarian community for years to come,” said Pierre Riopel, president, Collège Boréal, in a news release.
