SUDBURY- Ontario PC candidate Paula Peroni called on the premier to answer for the many allegations of improper behavior by Liberal Party insiders.

Joined by Steve Clark, the MPP responsible for initiating the OPP investigation into the allegations that the former candidate Andrew Olivier levied against longtime Liberal members Gerry Lougheed Jr and Pat Sorbara, Peroni reinforced the importance of integrity.

“This is an important election; the good people of Sudbury deserve to know the truth, we deserve answers,” she said.

Premier Wynne will meet with Elections Ontario officials this week to answer questions regarding the backroom political deals orchestrated by the Liberals prior to this by-election.

However, these allegations are not the only half-truths the premier is hiding behind.

Peroni demanded the premier come clean about the effects her planned carbon tax and nursing cuts will have on the hardworking people of Sudbury.

“I believe the people of Ontario deserve honesty and integrity from their elected officials. For Paula this by-election isn’t about party politics or partisanship. It’s about putting the people of Sudbury first,” stated Clark.
