One of the places Premier Kathleen Wynne visited during her trip to Greater Sudbury last week was École publique Jeanne-Sauvé.

Wynne has been visiting the city a lot lately as she supports Liberal candidate Glenn Thibeault in the upcoming provincial byelection.

Wynne was joined by Thibeault during her Jan. 23 visit to the junior kindergarten to Grade 6 French public school.

“Students and staff were pleased to welcome these distinguished visitors,” a press release said.

“Ms. Wynne took the opportunity to meet staff members and discuss various topics. Afterwards, the premier and Glenn Thibeault helped students lace up their skates and went on the school’s ice rink with students from grades 4 to 6. The students asked questions and talked with the Premier of Ontario.”
