The Sudbury Professional Firefighters Association has endorsed Liberal candidate Glenn Thibeault to be the next Member of Provincial Parliament for Sudbury.

“We've known Glenn for a long time, so we know he's the best choice in this provincial election. Glenn has a great track record representing this community, he always works with Sudbury's best interest at heart," said president Rob Hyndman for the Firefighters association. “Glenn is fiercely dedicated, focused on the future and fully prepared to deliver measurable results to the people of this community."

Hyndman praised Thibeault for his work in support of first responders. As Sudbury MP, Thibeault introduced Emergency Services Appreciation Day as his private members bill three times to recognize the hard work of firefighters and first responders.

“Glenn has always had a strong relationship with our Firefighters. In addition to his Appreciation Day, he was the first volunteer to suit up to participate in our FireOps event to get a better understanding of what it is we do to serve this community."

"I'm honoured that my friends, the Sudbury Professional Fire Fighters, are supporting me to represent Sudbury at Queen's Park," said Thibeault in a news release. "I would like to thank them for their support and their dedication to Sudbury.  They put their own lives at risk and take time away from their families to protect us and keep us safe."
